For those of you who aren’t that familiar
with Italy and would feel more comfortable
with a guided tour, is our “ITALIAN
TRAVELS”, a tour package using the villa as
our home base. If you’ve got a maximum of
7 people interested in an 8 day, all inclusive,
Italian gastronomical and cultural itinerary,
let us know and we’ll be on our way! This is a
very intimate tour where you pick your own
travel dates and we will personally
accompany you and your friends and family
on daily trips around our area, seeing the
major sites, dining at the finest restaurants
and don’t forget the finest wines! We also
always dedicate a full day to learn from a
local chef the fine art of homemade pasta
and pizza-making using the villas own wood
burning ovens!
Tuscany Marche and Umbria have been
defined the Heart of Italy.
Our tours to the Heart of Italy are
comprised of a restricted number of people
who like you are travelers who seek to go off
the beaten path, have a sense of adventure,
and are interested most of all in
experiencing life in Italy as it really is.
You will discover the most characteristic of
restaurants, villas and vineyards from the
comfort of our fully equipped passenger vans
complete with air conditioning. Also, our
guides and interpreters will be at your
service throughout your entire trip!
Our home base is SoleBello, a typical
country villa restored and converted into 3
apts. with all the comforts of home. In fact,
most of our evening meals will be taken in
this relaxing atmosphere where we can
leisurely discuss long into the night what
towns we covered that day, how the food and
wine was in that particular locale and where
we will be headed after breakfast the next
day.

An example of a typical Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival in Ancona’s Falconara Airport.
Transfer to Sole Bello, our home base, in a
comfortable passenger van.
Dinner in a local restaurant close to home.
DAY 2
Breakfast at home around 8:30– 9:00
We start out in the morning at 9:00 for our daily
outings.
Morning visit of Senigallia.
We will see La Rocca, the historical center and the
beach before having lunch in a typical restaurant
on the beach. After lunch we explore the
Marchegian countryside with Corinaldo, Ostra and
wine tasting at the antique villa’s cantina and
vineyards, where we will also buy our wine for the
week.
DAY 3
After breakfast we head for the coast again to
explore Monte Conero and Ancona with it’s various
sea towns perched on it’s cliff side.
Lunch will be in a wonderful hill town resort.
We will then dedicate the afternoon to Loreto with
it’s famous Basilica full of art, history, wonder and
awe.
DAY 4
This day is dedicated to the Republic of San Marino.
Too much to see and do to fit in a brochure!
DAY 5
Today we go to Gubbio and Assisi.
This will be a long day full of food, wine and
medieval history.
DAY 6
This day takes us into the glorious Appenini
Mountain chain which has been defined as the
“backbone” of these regions.
We will end up in Urbino ,the birthplace of Raffaello
And home to one of Italy’s most antique
Universities.
DAY 7
Today we spend a relaxing day at SoleBello with a
local chef who will teach us the art of pizza and
pasta making using our wood burning ovens!
DAY 8
Departure
Have Fun and BUON APPETITO!!!

SoleBello for a hands–on Italian cooking
lesson featuring our wood burning
ovens. You will discover with us the artistic,
architectural, gastronomical and enological
side of these historical and magical regions.
Our itineraries have been studied and
perfected to give you an authentic sensation of
living in Italy that is usually unknown to most
tourists traveling with larger groups.
The tour is all inclusive including:
Transportation to and from the airport in
Falconara ,limited baggage handling, guided
sightseeing everyday with interpreter,
accomodations at SoleBello, all meals ,
breakfast will be in the continental style ,
lunch is the Italian dinner where wine will be
served along with mineral water and coffee.
Dinner is usually a lighter fare and will be
served at our home base or pizza in a local
restaurant.

adventure and your appetite!
